  • A Sour Patch Kid—all of whom are born sweet, but as they mature they start gaining their sour crystals, becoming more sour and stern. Ideally they return to the sweetness as they self-actualize, but it is easier said than done.
  • She was born right when Candia joined the Ravening War, and is in her 20s now.
  • Her life is somewhat complicated by the fact that Candia has two monarchs, because it creates double the security threats.
  • Because of her position, she knows everything that could be a vulnerability or a security threat, any confidential information.
  • Both of her parents survived the Ravening War, but her father died soon after, leaving her mother to raise her on her own.
  • Her mother was the previous captain of the royal guard, but died within the last year, leaving Sir Rulean to take over as captain.
  • The House of Saccharius going to Comida is Sir Rulean’s first big escort of the family.
  • Relevant groups under her command:
    • The Knights of Gumbia, highly proficient fighters.
    • The Tart Guard are her enlisted foot soldiers who are still in training and finding their footing.
  • Very no-nonsense, she runs a tight ship.
  • She feels she has a lot to prove in following in her mother’s footsteps.
  • Her whole life was leading towards taking over the royal guard from her mother, feeling a tremendous sense of duty to carry on the family legacy.
  • A career soldier, joining the Tart Guard in puberty and continuing on the military path.
